Steam drum is the main interface between water and steam. It is connected with downcomer and water wall to separate steam and water and purify steam, forming a natural circulation circuit. The manufacturing of steam drum must strictly check the materials, welding control and processing, and go through a series of strict inspections.
Commonly used materials for drum are SA516 Gr70, P235GH, P265GH, P295GH, P355GH, 16Mo3, 15NiCuMoNb5-6-4, Q245R, 16MnR, etc.
