Air preheater (APH) is a shell and tube heat exchanger, which is used to preheat the air fed into the boiler to burn fuel. The main objective of the APH is to extract waste heat from the flue gas leaving the boiler.
Commonly used materials for APH are SA178, SA179, SA192, SA106B, SA210A1, P195GH, P235GH, P265GH, 20#, Q235B, ND(09CrCuSb), etc.
